Why I am a Actor/Writer/Storyteller
I am an alumni of Clarke Central and Towns County high schools with my college years spent at the University of Georgia. All through my educational years I was involved in theatre with too many shows to remember or try to recount. When I tried to continue acting, in those days the only way to make a real living was to move to New York for stage or Los Angeles for film. I didn't like the idea living on a park bench, so I found a career in construction. I moved to Charlotte where my continued involvement in theatre opens the door to film due to my building sets. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but this made me one of the first generation of Southeast filmmakers. That took the mystery out of the industry and I met some great people. There are good and bad in everything, but even after all this time I still love it.
If you want to know a thing or two about working on the crew for films, click here for some stories. I have worked as a prop builder, greensperson, production assistant, location scout, and actor. The vast majority of my resume is in costuming and that's how most people in the biz know me. If you want to see some of my work, IMDb.com is a site where most of us have our work listed.
Now my focus has turned to acting. I'm planning on finishing this journey the way it started. If you want to see me in action, click here. If you want to see some monologues, click here, For pictures and head shots, click here.
